First Litter Pick of 2025

A small band of troupers arrived on the Abbey Park field this Saturday. After collecting equipment and a brief H&S chat we dispersed in pairs to find and remove what we could.

The pick didn't disappoint, though we wished it had. Among the detritus found were a heavy grill which had to deposited none of the council bins along the walk, wheelbarrow full of concrete, a builders warning sign-returned to the site and a pair of very soiled boxer shorts.

As usual, we left the bags by the park bins and other non disposable items were reported to Streetwise to collect.
